| Norman Wisdom films all tend to follow a simple formula. Loveable Norman has a simple life, often overlooked a father figure (Mr. Grimsdale) caring for him. Antagonist enters the wisdom and usually Angers. Much revenge type comedy ensues. Invest in a child or children who need help and an unfeasibly attractive woman Norman to fall in love with. So once the formula has been established that it is very unusual to expect otherwise.
