| Those who fail the DVD movie K-19: The Widowmaker (one reviewer said the K-19: The Widowmaker Drama movie sucks) are missing the point. Must use their brains and weak realize what this film: K-19: The Widowmaker is. Value beyond belief. I can not imagine anyone (including me) as I am sacrificing some of the K-19 crew made an attempt to control the malfunction of the reactor. Most of the crew were children with little or no experience. I felt the DivX film K-19: The Widowmaker captures the tension of the facts perfectly. Leave the ornaments that always seems to insist Hollywierd. These brave men deserve our thanks and respect. Like many before them. Even during the Cold War to the Soviet Union wanted the same thing that our service personnel. Peace and nothing more. And those who have written in English by its appologizing. It is not necessary, I could not even begin to write in another language. |
| Forget the critics, forget the sailors whiney Russia: this K-19: The Widowmaker movie is worth seeing. This only goes to show how stupid the general public has become. Critics have become nothing but a bunch of "good discussion" prostitutes who work for the Commission and the gifts. Just goes to show that they are idiots, covering schlock like Spider-man, but as bold in making this movie. For shame. With a good cast, great tension and Harrison Ford, who still want more action and silly statement. Maybe the topic, or perhaps is the fact Harrison Ford is not to kill anyone and trying to act sexy, but I can not understand why would anyone in this film. I do not think this K-19: The Widowmaker film is harmful to the reputation of Russian sailors, who were portrayed with style and with bravado not exposed in most films of submarines. In addition, the claustrophobic nature of the K-19: The Widowmaker Drama movie must have been difficult for the film, considering the close quarters of the characters had to work. Overall, the K-19: The Widowmaker Drama probably could have used some adjustments, but the way it is still enough to see a movie. 7.2/10 |
| While Tom Clancy's "The Hunt For Red October" is my favorite DVD movie K-19: The Widowmaker drama submarine, and "Down Periscope" is my favorite comedy submarine movie, "K19 The Widowmaker 'hands is my favorite submarine true story. Harrison Ford really shines as hard as nails captain of a nuclear ordered to sea before they're ready, just to prove the Soviet parity in the nuclear race of the Cold War. Liam Neeson is also very believable in the part of the sub commander demoted to the executive for not having the boat ready in time. Actor Joss Ackland and again played a senior Soviet official who is more concerned with their own place in power he on the welfare of the crew of the submarine. This is a constriction visually riveting, tautly written, directed and produced films that you can not forget once you've seen. Especially poignant is the scene at the cemetery, twenty-eight years later, when the two captains and the whole crew is to survive. This is a ten out of ten, and you can not lose. |
